Supports and additions system

This method was developed by N. Habraken and it especially suited for collective housing. It consists in differentiating between the collective elements of a home (structure, patios, stairways, placing of bathrooms and kitchens, etc.) which are called "supports" and the individual components of each home, known as "additions". Supports are fixed features and can be designed collectively, while "additions" are flexible and can be changed by each family unit.
